It’s safe to say that cars play a very big role in most of our lives.
We use them to drop our kids off at school in the morning, get to and
from work, and go wherever else we need to go.
And because cars are so ingrained in our daily routines, it’s easy
for us to take them for granted — especially now, with ride-sharing
services like Uber and Lyft. But while these services have become a
convenient way for us to get to and from our destinations, there are
many upsides to having our own new or used car:
Independence: The beauty of owning a quality new or
used vehicle is not having to depend on others for your travel
needs. That means no waiting on the bus or asking for a ride — you
can come and go as much as you please. That’s definitely something
to be grateful for.
Convenience: Independence and convenience basically
go hand in hand. Having the luxury of going to and fro without
infringing on someone else’s time ultimately saves you time to do
the things you want — and need — to do.
Freedom to travel long distances: Having your own
car means the world is your oyster. Whether it’s a summer road trip
or driving to a friend’s house across town, you have the freedom and
ability to travel from one place to another with ease.
