Our Market Area Managers work as dealer representatives for Credit Acceptance with positions available nationwide. Responsibilities include:

Support & Training

Great sales people deserve continuous support. Credit Acceptance provides all Sales Team Members with the training and tools they need to be successful.

Support includes:

New Hire Training
Extensive training is provided to ensure all Sales Team Members have the company knowledge and best practices to succeed. Weeks 1, 3, and 5 are spent in the field with the Director of Sales, while weeks 2 & 4 are classroom based and held at our Company headquarters in Southfield, MI. After six  months, all Sales Team Members return to headquarters to share their experiences and reinforce best practices while in the field.

Annual Sales Leadership Exchange (SLE)
SLE is Credit Acceptance’s annual sales event that is focused on best practices in sales and dealer engagement as well as training & development.

Tech & Tools
All Sales Team Members are provided with an iPhone, laptop, best in class market reporting and lead generation technology, in addition to CRM and performance dashboards to help track dealership data and real-time performance metrics.

Ongoing Training & Support
There are many opportunities for ongoing classroom training and support as well as continuous mentoring and coaching from the Director of Sales, who has extensive background and knowledge of the industry.

Position qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in competitive sales environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • A valid driver’s license, insurance and registration
  • Occasional overnight travel, less than 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience in auto finance or retail operations of automobile dealerships
  • Existing relationships with car dealers in the defined territory
