Environmental

  • We believe in protecting our climate for current dealers, consumers and team members, as well as for future generations. We act on this belief by exploring new ways to promote a sustainable environment, such as: investing in our facilities to reduce the amount of electricity and water we use; giving virtually all team members the ability to work from home, thereby reducing emissions; and, by hosting team member events to raise environmental awareness.

Social

  • Credit Acceptance takes pride in being a socially responsible company. We offer products that provide consumers the opportunity to improve their life by purchasing a vehicle and establishing or reestablishing their credit with on-time payments, and we provide access to consumer financial education on our website. When consumers are impacted by floods, tornados or other adverse weather events, we work with the impacted consumers to allow them to focus on recovering from the natural disaster.
  • We support various community organizations, causes and initiatives through voluntary and charitable efforts. We have a dedicated Community Service Committee on which team members can champion an event or activity to support a cause they are passionate about.
  • We strive to create a work environment that is pleasant, professional, and free from intimidation, hostility, or other offenses that may interfere with work performance. Our team members are highly diverse as more than half of our team members are women, and more than half belong to a minority ethnic group. Our team members also reflect diversity of nationality, faith, age and sexual orientation. Our Diversity and Inclusion Committee is dedicated to helping our Company maintain an inclusive work environment that promotes awareness and acceptance of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, cultures, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities and more. Our goal is to create a safe space where every team member feels seen, heard, and empowered.

Governance

  • Our Board of Directors is focused on sound corporate governance and sets high standards for the Company's team members, officers, and directors. To maintain the high standard of accountability, integrity and transparency that is crucial to how we operate our business, and as part of its oversight responsibilities and discharge of fiduciary duties to shareholders, the Board of Directors has established governance policies, procedures and standards. These policies, procedures and standards may be subject to modification from time to time as the Board of Directors deems appropriate in the best interest of the Company or as required by applicable laws and regulations.
